Mousepads: Cloth, Hard, and What Actually Changes Aim

Your mouse is only as consistent as the surface under it.
Cloth pads give control and hide a bit of sweat. Hard pads feel faster and show dust immediately. Most people who play mixed genres are happier on a medium cloth.
Size first. If your arm aims, you want a wide pad. If you only flick from the wrist, a medium pad is enough and leaves desk space.
Pick a surface for how you aim
Stitched edges last longer and do not peel onto your sleeve. Cheap printed pads curl at the corners after a wash.
Washed the old pad, then bought a larger cloth one. Aim stopped changing every other day.

Wash cloth pads. A greasy surface makes a good sensor look broken. Mild soap, flat dry, no high heat.

- A cleaning habit if you use cloth.
